It's time to celebrate getting outside again, and still having time to cook and eat real food for dinner. Here are our offerings for the month in which Spring officially begins (even if it takes a bit longer here in Maine).




* Sweet and Sour Chicken Tenders
Bake the chicken that you've coated with the flour and crumb mixture as you warm the sweet and sour sauce in a small saucepan. Quick and easy, and a favorite of kids of all ages! 
* Batter Fried Tilapia
If you like fish and chips, you'll love this. Coat the tilapia fillets in a rich seasoned buttermilk batter and fry them in a skillet. Scrumptious! 
* Apple Pork Tenderloin
Marinate this succulent pork tenderloin in an apple juice marinade, then baste it with the apple glaze as it cooks. Be sure to save some of the glaze for a dipping sauce on the side. Yum! 
* Satay Chicken
Returning by customer request. Chicken breast meat glazed with a peanut sauce full of garlic and ginger. Makes a tasty chicken dish with its own dipping sauce. 
* Roasted Sweet Potato and Bean Burritos
Another customer favorite, this is vegan comfort food! Mashed, roasted sweet potatoes with beans, onion, garlic, the right seasonings, and of course cheese, all rolled up in your choice of whole wheat or white tortillas. 
* Chicken Cordon Bleu Bake
Layers of chicken breast, ham and swiss cheese, covered in a creamy sauce then topped with crumbs. You'll love to dig into this one! 
* Honey & Lime Thai Pork Chops
This Thai dish of boneless pork chops is delicious with hints of hoisin sauce, sherry, and garlic in a honey and lime base.  
* Moroccan Beef and Sweet Potato Stew
Here's a new twist on a classic dish. The raisins, cinnamon and cloves make it Moroccan; the sweet potatoes make it delicious. Can be cooked in a crock pot or a saucepan on the stove. 
* Vegetarian Chili
Healthy and warming - onion, carrot, bell pepper, and corn added to diced tomatoes, three kinds of beans, and just the right seasonings. Cook it in a crock pot all day or heat it on the stove or in the oven in an hour. Delicious and satisfying. 
* Chicken Enchiladas
Returning by customer request! Generous portions of diced chicken, cheeses and our made-from-scratch enchilada sauce make plump and satisfying enchiladas for the whole family. Your choice of white or whole wheat tortillas to wrap them up. 
* Creole Beef
Close your eyes and visit the bayou where the moss hangs from the trees as you taste this Creole dish, spiced just right. Cooks in a crock pot, or a saucepan.  
* Spice Rubbed Salmon
Put together your own spice rub to season the salmon fillets. Simply rub on the flavor and bake (or grill) the salmon. It's a healthy treat! 
* Barbecue Meatloaf
This family favorite returns - sweet and tangy barbecue sauce flavors the ground beef, mixed with seasoned bread crumbs and bits of onion for a dinner even the kids will love. 
* Tropical Island Chicken
Flavor this chicken with an assortment of spices in orange pineapple juice, breathe in the aroma and hear the faint strains of reggae music on tropical breezes. 


Our Menu for April
It's time to spring outside and search for daffodils and hyacinths, pussy willows and budding trees. Give yourself more time by getting a head start on dinner!




* Vegetarian Mexican Pizzas
We love these for a quick meal. The crust is a tortilla (either white or whole wheat). Cover it with a blend of black beans, corn, onions, bell peppers and seasonings in salsa, top it all with cheese and bake. The flavors meld beautifully! 
* Dijon Crusted Pork Tenderloin
This lean pork tenderloin gets coated with a honey-dijon mustard glaze, rolled in crumbs, and roasted in the oven. And it comes with its own honey-mustard-yogurt sauce for dipping! 
* Amazing Pork Chops
These boneless pork chops are covered with a blend of mashed sweet potato, pineapple, a drizzle of molasses, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and cloves, and then baked. Special enough for a dinner party, even if it's immediate family only. 
* Sausage with Peppers and Onions
This meal gets rave reviews. Browned sweet Italian sausage warms up quickly with an abundance of green peppers and onions in a delicious tomato sauce for an easy, heat-and-eat week night meal. 
* Hungarian Goulash
Many happy reviews have brought this one back. This traditional repast of beef, onion, garlic and spices will simmer in your crock pot all day and be ready for dinner when you are.  
* Sweet Potato and Black Bean Stew
This vegetarian dish, with its roots in Africa, combines the great colors and flavors of diced sweet potato, bell peppers, carrots, onion, black beans and seasonings to create a feast for the eyes, the taste buds and the tummy. Mmmmm. 
* Classic Chicken and Biscuits
This favorite comfort food is a traditional dish made easy. Cook the chicken in a skillet or saucepan, add the broth with carrots, celery and onion, and serve over (or next to) the biscuits.  
* Beef and Bean Chimichangas
Imported from South of the border, you choose white or wheat tortillas and fill them with ground beef, onion, bell peppers, corn, beans, salsa and all the right spices to make this colorful and flavorful family favorite. 
* Baked Stuffed Tilapia
Tilapia fillets covered with buttered seasoned breadcrumbs and baked in your own oven. Just like in the restaurant, except you can dine in your pajamas. 
* Baked Orange Chicken
Coat this chicken breast meat with orange and lemon juices and a bit of orange marmalade and ginger, then just slide it into the oven for a no-fuss scrumptious dinner. 
* Parmesan Chicken Fingers
One of our favorite kid foods that grown-ups love, too. We marinate the chicken in half-and-half cream; you make the crumb mixture, dip the chicken and you are done! You might want to make two because they're so easy -- and so good. 
* Sweet and Tangy Beef
This crock pot meal includes chili sauce, apple juice, honey, red wine vinegar, garlic - a marvelous medley of flavors in which the beef soaks and stews all day until it is tender enough to fall apart with a fork. 
* Shrimp in Wine Sauce over Spaghetti
A simple but impressive dish. Make the scrumptious sauce of onion, garlic, herbs, and white wine, add the shrimp in the last few minutes just to cook through, toss with the spaghetti, and serve.  
* Fiesta Chicken and Rice
Another crock pot meal to simplify your life. Flavorful, skinless chicken simmers in Tex-Mex flavored braising liquid for several hours before stirring in the rice to cook. This meal in one is as easy as it gets.
